Everyone wants to grow old. No one wants to be old. Especially not circus artists.
In an intimate and innovative performance, choreographer Piet van Dycke explores the strength and limitations of the aging body together with six acrobats aged between 55 and 67. GLORIOUS BODIES puts the spotlight on the physical endurance, the process of falling and getting back up, and shatters clichés surrounding old age with a sledgehammer. The result? A touching, charming and humorous performance that shows what humans and the human body are capable of, and there is clearly no age on that.
