The only constant is that everything changes. In a parallel universe, four acrobats must continuously respond to the changing world around them. While the classic acrobat tries to overcome the forces of nature, “Dans l’espace” reveals how we, as humans, relate to them. Confronted with relentless forces, the quartet must constantly choose between the allure of control, the appeal of play, or humility. In this high-risk and dynamic performance, the acrobats climb, jump, dodge, and force their way through the hoops they are compelled to jump through.

In “Dans l’Espace,” they emphasize the need to look beyond just the social sphere. Humans must be seen as part of an environment, influenced by natural and environmental forces. Circus is in direct contact with natural laws such as gravity, dynamics, and kinetics. These forces form the basis of acrobatic movements: balance, breaking points, and growth. Often, these forces remain hidden, but in “Dans l’Espace,” they are made visible as full-fledged partners in the acrobatic evolution. Un loup pour l’Homme shows us that we must learn to know, respect, fear, and sometimes tame the forces around us in order to understand our relationship to nature and all the challenges it brings.
