CERAMIC CIRCUS – Julian Vogel l Nederlandse Première 23 oktober
Rising talent Julian Vogel never fails to surprise. After studying psychology and art history, he found his way into the circus almost by accident, without fully realizing the path he was taking. His fascination with objects and their unexpected movements led him to the stage. Inspired by artists like John Cage, Julian Vogel lets objects, music, and the unpredictability of movement guide him. In his work, he takes full control, from designing objects to composing music, creating a unique fusion of visual art and circus.
In CERAMIC CIRCUS, Julian plays with roller skates, bicycles, and delicate porcelain plates, exploring the boundaries between circus and art with a touch of absurd humor and simplicity. Catch the performance on October 23 and 24 at Loup in Spoorpark! Read more information about this performance here.
Meander – Marta Kim met Knot on Hands en Felix Zech l Wereldse première 24 oktober
Meander celebrates the constant process of change and how our perspectives of each other and the world evolve. By letting go of hierarchies and power structures, the performers create a space of new discoveries, questions, and insights. It’s about collective exploration, growth, and breaking with tradition.
In Meander, five circus and dance artists—Marta Kim, Knot on Hands, and Felix Zech—combine their talents. Like a river carving its own path, they climb, slide, and intertwine into a seamless flow, reminiscent of birds in flight. With three joint wins of the BNG Bank Dance and Circus Prize, and support from TENT and Dansateliers, their vision comes to life on October 24 and 25 in Spoorpark.
