From October 10 to 19, we will once again be pitching our tents in Spoorpark in Tilburg—the beating heart of ten days of contemporary circus.

This fall break, Tilburg will be all about imagination, wonder, and playfulness. Festival Circolo 2025 honors play as an art of living, in a world that needs imagination more than ever.

Attend more than 40 performances at the intersection of circus, dance, theater, and performance art—from dryly comical family acts to raw, visual avant-garde work. At Spoorpark, Schouwburg & Concertzaal Tilburg, and Theater De Nieuwe Vorst.

Theme

Festival Circolo 2025 is a celebration of playfulness. Daredevils clamber along the frayed edges of control, clowns gently poke at our certainties, and trailblazers keep our imagination in top condition. The performances touch on a deeper truth: that playfulness is not a luxury, but a necessity. Playing together is an exercise in being human. It offers the opportunity to see differently, to do differently, and thus to shape a different world (of experience).

Les Dodos – Le P’tit Cirk

The Dodos fall, climb, catch, collide, and remain standing. Sometimes accidentally, sometimes deliberately, but always together. This is how they stumble their way through life, heading toward the inevitable. The result is an absurd and musical spectacle about falling, getting up, and carrying on, together through wind and weather, with their noses held high.

ALLES GAAT SUPERGOED – Collectif Malunés

Collectif Malunés returns to Festival Circolo for the third time. What starts as an evening at the circus turns into a swirling scene where above and below, artist and spectator, stage and audience intermingle. Acrobats fly just above your head, your table suddenly becomes a stage, and the balcony turns out to be the starting point for a breakneck climb. With flair and imagination, these French innovators breathe fresh air into the tent circus and present you with an evening you won’t forget.
