In BELLO!, six acrobats and one actor take you on an unconventional quest centred around one question: how do you find the beauty within yourself, and how do you bring it out into the world?
The performance unfolds as a series of short stories in which everyday encounters are magnified, distorted and viewed from a fresh perspective. Bold fashion shows, ballets, quiet touches and impressive group acrobatics flow into one another in a world that is sometimes exuberant, sometimes meditative, yet always searching for connection.
Director Francesco Sgrò and his international ensemble explore beauty as something collective: something that emerges through collaboration, vulnerability, physical attentiveness and the trust between bodies carrying one another. BELLO! becomes a disarming performance about beauty as a shared experience: not something you possess, but something that exists between people.
