Everything you know from a living room is acrobatically explored by the characters for this purpose. In the end, they’re both mainly focused on what they themselves want. How do they stay in harmony?
Ali Deslandes & Máté – Tangent
In Tangent, tightwire, juggling, and live music come together. A play of trust, obstacles, and ultimately finding a solution together. It’s visual, energetic, and the performers respond beautifully to one another. Live music is composed in the moment, reacting to what happens on stage.
Camin Arricau Cassiau – Saturation
With contrast in light, sound, and movement, the performer tries to de-stimulate. In doing so, he expresses his own inner conflict through movement. Camin also tries to create a bit of de-stimulation for the audience.
Bertille Thromas & Alex Fito Ayala – Limbiosis
Bertille and Alex draw inspiration for their movements from insects. How do they move, and what would that look like on a human body? They use this new way of moving to explore whether two bodies can become one. Taking an ant colony as inspiration, they ask the question: how does the individual function within a capitalist society?\
Lara Ngo – The Rope Monster
The Rope Monster: an endearing and alienating figure. Born out of ropes, or perhaps swallowed by them. Throughout the performance, more and more is revealed of what lies hidden beneath all those ropes. With The Rope Monster, Lara tells a story about masking and revealing yourself, about discipline and curiosity.
Lara Bokma & Alex Fito Ayala – Something that is not a sentence
A classic, turbulent love story. Attraction, repulsion, getting stuck in patterns, and wanting to break free from them again. A relatable performance about wanting to protect one another, yet making the same mistake over and over. Lara and Alex use their own disciplines — floor and aerial acrobatics — to portray the story.
Lennard Bösger – DJ LenJay
DJ LenJay throws a party. The recipe is simple: a DJ and a diabolo artist. One makes the music, the other moves to it. And they do so in the most spectacular way. With a wink and a sense of humor, they make things a little difficult for each other. The result: a festive closing act.
