In Meander, five circus and dance artists weave a visual landscape. They glide and climb over and under each other, reaching for height and intertwining into one body. Like a new river finding its course or a flock of birds migrating as one, this living sculpture moves through the world. With subtle shifts and dramatic changes, the audience is taken on a poetic, physical journey exploring the boundaries of mutual dependence between people. Exceptionally beautiful and elegant.
Partner acrobats Knot on Hands, Felix Zech, and the duo Marta Kim join forces under the wings of production houses TENT and Dansateliers to realize their dream: a collaborative performance. After countless collaborations and many successful crossovers, these ensembles blend their artistic signatures into a hypnotically beautiful performance. Meander celebrates the process and our ever-changing way of experiencing one another and our surroundings. By breaking away from traditional hierarchies and power structures, the five artists create a space where every moment offers a new discovery, question, or insight. For who leads a flock of birds? Who determines the flow of the river? Just as nature follows its own course, so does Meander.
