Witness sparkling, unpolished diamonds and be the first to discover the emerging talent who will fill Festival Circolo’s biggest tents in the years to come.
Fred Rush – Does It Fit?
Fashion, identity and balance are the threads of this unique wire act by Fred Rush. Inspired by surrealist tones and a hint of Tim Burton, Fred plays with clothing as both expression and limitation. From the costume emerges a movement language that feels distorted yet soft and deeply human. A performance that walks the line between darkness and light, structure and play.
Tara Lovise Kvarving – The Meaning of Nonsense / Embracing the Fool
This eight-minute solo by dancer, trapeze artist and creator Tara Lovise Kvarving is a surreal dreamscape filled with dry humor, raw honesty and symbolic nonsense. She explores themes of impermanence, identity and existential doubt, inviting you to embrace the meaning in meaninglessness.
Diego Ganchou en Camin Arricau – Nounoué
Nounoué is a tender physical duet exploring the meaning of touch. Two performers investigate how physical contact between men can exist outside of power, competition or sexuality. Through rope, floor and each other, they give touch a new form as care, attention and mutual understanding. Nounoué invites you to rethink how we feel, connect and define masculinity.
Thomas Spark – Push and Pull
In this interactive Chinese pole act, the audience holds the reins. You decide what Thomas does and he climbs, spins or fumbles accordingly. With charm, self-mockery and quick improvisation, he brings circus back to its roots as a shared experience. Along the way, you’ll learn what a Chinese pole is, what it can do and what not to try at home. Refreshing, insightful and delightfully original.
“Raw, unpolished, and exciting.”
